• Northern California native; moved to Southern California for college

• B.S. in Biology, UC Irvine (2002)

• Worked in the pharmaceutical industry (chemistry, QA, validation)

• Self‑taught in computer technology through side hustles

• Taught office and graphics applications for 5+ years

• Earned the CompTIA trifecta (A+, Network+, Security+) in 2012

• Taught Computer Information Systems part‑time at LBCC and SMC (2014–2017)

• M.S. in Education, Cal State Fullerton (2017, fully online)

• Full‑time faculty, Long Beach City College (2017)

• Tenured in 2021

• Computer Technology Program Lead

• Curriculum Committee Rep (since 2022)

• Academic Senate At‑Large Rep (since 2025)
